How to learn Russian EASILY? Is it really possible?
Today I will tell you how you can learn Russian by watching films.
There are many things that you can improve by watching films. It is a good way to learn a language because it is relaxing and you don’t feel like you are actually studying. Nevertheless, you can improve your Russian skills.
There are 3 ways:
- Watch the whole film at once
Don’t try to understand every single word. Focus on images and what’s happening on screen. It will help you understand the context. You will get used to the pronunciation and the sound of the language.
- Watch one segment
Splitting a film into small segments is the best way to focus on vocabulary and specific sounds. As you watch, write down four or five short phrases that you like or an interesting dialogue. Once you’ve finished, you can translate them, then watch again and focus on them in the film.
- Practice speaking
Repeat the same words and then repeat the phrases, focusing on imitating the pronunciation and intonation of native speakers. Once you’ve practiced repeating the phrases, you can record yourself and compare it to the original, and repeat until you are satisfied. It will help you improve Russian speaking skills.
